This is fartingprincess, the one who posts updates on the Flashmob practices here in Cebu. If you refer to the previous post, Krizzjae said some good news that our official choreographers will finally be coming this Saturday's practice. I hope everybody could come. ^^

Practice Schedule

Date: MAY 15, 2010

Venue: Cebu City Sports Complex OVAL

Time: 8AM

Please bring necessary stuff like towels, food, water and extra t-shirts. Also, don't forget your P10.00 entrance fee. ^^

Anyways, I kinda have bad news. :(

I will be flying to Iligan City later tonight, May 13th around 11pm. My family and I will be visiting my Step-dad's family. We will be there for almost a week, so that means I will be away for a while. As much as I would want to keep this blog updated, I can't because I don't have a laptop. lol. And, there's not that much Internet Cafe's there. T__T

But I will still try my best to update this if ever I get the chance to go online. In case, I can't, you guys can still be updated by checking or adding Krizzjae's Facebook Account. You can also send her a message through her cellphone number: 09239558556

I will most probably be back by Wednesday next week, May 19th so maybe I can post some stuff and update you guys. ^^ That would be all. I hope you'll understand. :))

Hey there guys~!

I would like to say "THANK YOU" to all those who replied and to those who volunteered to join (you don't know how you made me happy today^^)
I have a good news....we now have....SPEAKERS~!
yep, you read that right...the speakers that needs no electricity but only batteries...
my problem now is how or when would i be able to purchase 4 AAA batteries despite my small wage (no, i mean school allowance)
Then, as for the food which i told you about that would serve as my "suhol"?
i don't know if i could bring them...i hope you'll bring your snacks and don't expect it...i might fail you and in turn, i might STARVE you to death (joke)
But at least we have speakers now....but I still need your phones in case my MP3 would stop playing (basin ma-lowbatt siya)
so please charge your cellphones in any case we would have technical failure...

Another good news (i think for me)....our TWO LOVELY CHOREOGRAPHERS will be coming~!
So that means, our practice would be successful (i hope so)
And please be reminded of the things i need you to bring (don't forget YOURSELVES)

I need your contact numbers so please PM me your numbers (SUN or GLOBE)
so that in any case I would be meeting you at the venue, it would be easy for me to meet you (we haven't met yet in person so don't be surprised...believe me, i look older than my picture here..i was 18 back then "=_= )
I suggest you wear your comfortable clothes...that would be pants/shorts
comfortable sneakers/any footwear...comfortable shirts...
the place is very humid and gets hotter by past 9AM...
Hmmm, as what i've mentioned before, we are going to perform this @ AYALA CENTER CEBU

Updates 06: Important

The second practice is not a successful one. It was an EPIC FAILURE (LOL)
Well, at least three members showed up, so it was quite a nice meet-up (though they were a bit surprised to see me in personal. My face looks a bit older than how my profile pic here looks XD)


I've scheduled already our next practice so I'm hoping that everyone could come....or should I say, "MUST" come. This flashmob thing is a great event that anyone should be serious about (if ever you really are interested) because this is an event that allows us to join, you know what I mean.

So I'm calling all those who are INTERESTED to please be SERIOUS about this, though this is the second practice so it's okay. We have a long way to go and I'm pretty sure that in the next practices, not all can come (but everyone should come on the last 2 final practices before flashmob day) so I'm asking all of you to at least participate. I know you are busy with your summer classes and other stuff. I am busy as well, but I would really appreciate it if at least we could do half of the song. As far as I know, we are still a few for the flashmob event, and I'm hoping we could gain a lot more members, maybe twice as many as we are now.

I'm not looking for members who are great and magnificent dancers. What I'm looking for are members who are very interested, dedicated and cooperative. If you are really INTERESTED and SERIOUS about this, please reply to my thread to let me know if who else can join. I understand how you should prioritize other things than this so I would like to know who can COMMIT to this event so that I would be able to recognize you. This coming SATURDAY, that would be on MAY 15, 2010, I am scheduling our THIRD PRACTICE, same time at 8AM and still the same place @ CEBU CITY SPORTS COMPLEX (ABELLANA), OVAL. I know that by 9AM, the place gets hot so I am suggesting you stay at the shady areas, particularly where the trees stood.

I'll try to bring snacks (can you guys bring too? XD) for everyone on that matter (I guess this would be my "suhol" to those members to join...hahaha) and I would like to discuss things with you also, a tentative decision, a plan. Anyway, these are the things I would like to let you guys know:

EVENT: THIRD PRACTICE @ CCSC, 8AM

WHAT TO BRING?: If possible, please BRING YOURSELVES, extra shirts (i'm sure the place gets humid and hot), WATER (avoid being dehydrated), SNACKS (for everyone if you could), SPEAKERS (we badly need one) or you could download the song for me and we'll have to play it in your phones.

FURTHER INFO: I need the CHOREOGRAPHERS to come on the said schedule (please make it on the 3rd practice guys, we need you), please reply to my thread here so that I would know who else can come. To those who will reply are bound to COMMIT to the PRACTICES that are scheduled EVERY SATURDAY, @ CCSC, 8AM. I accept LATE COMERS but must not be beyond 9AM. The scheduled FLASHMOB is on JULY 4, 2010, SUNDAY. The venue would be @ AYALA CENTER CEBU.

1. What is CassPH Cebu TVXQ Flashmob?
-CassPH Cebu TVXQ Flashmob is the blog you are reading. (lol) Seriously, this blog site was made so that Cebuano Cassiopeias can interact with each other and plan for the upcoming flashmob for TVXQ this JULY 4, 2010. The main purpose of this blog site is to post announcements and updates of the Flash mob practices here in Cebu City.

2. What is a flashmob?
-A flash mob (or flashmob) is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and pointless act for a brief time, then quickly disperse.

Basically, what happens is we (Cebuano Cassies) will act like total strangers to each other then suddenly, one by one we will dance to a DBSK/TVXQ/TOHOSHINKI song in a certain public place for a certain period of time, depends on the length of the song and then we will disperse. Get the idea? If not just watch this vid:

As what I understand, a flashmob is a dance event that gathers the fans to get to dance to their favorite idol's songs in a huge crowd. One fan dances first then another member will join him/her in dancing then another joins then another until all of the group members will be able to dance. The target venue would be a place where there is a huge crowd present.

3. Why do a flash mob? Isn't it just a waste of time?
-Actually, we aren't wasting our precious time here. We, Cebuano Cassiopeias, together with other TVXQ/DBSK fans from all over the world (Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Brazil, Australia and the Philippines) be it a Cassiopeia, BigEast, an International Fan or a Kpop/Jpop fan who supports TVXQ are trying our very best to show that whatever happens, we will Always Keep our Faith to the boys. This is our own way of showing our support.


4. What songs are we using?
-TVXQ/DBSK/TOHOSHINKI songs only. Since this is a TVXQ Flash mob. ^^

AS WHAT YOU HAVE REQUESTED, I CANCELED THE FLASHMOB PRACTICE THAT WAS SUPPOSEDLY GOING TO TAKE PLACE TODAY, MAY 3 @ CCSC OVAL.

NOW THAT THE SECOND PRACTICE WAS CANCELED, WE ARE GOING TO RESUME THIS ACTIVITY TO MAY 8, SATURDAY. THE TIME IS YET TO BE DECIDED BUT I WOULD LIKE TO SUGGEST THAT WE'LL BE HAVING THIS ON MORNING. I GOT TWOTHREE REASONS: 1) MORNING SWEAT IS BETTER THAN THAT OF THE AFTERNOON SWEAT; 2) I THINK IT IS HOTTER IN THE AFTERNOON THAN IN THE MORNING?; 3) I GOT CLASS ON EXACTLY 2-5pm.

I NEED YOUR SUGGESTIONS AS TO WHAT TIME WE ARE GOING TO START. WHETHER ALL OR A FEW WILL COME TO THE PRACTICE DAY, I WILL NOT CHANGE THE DATE ANYMORE. Also, Krizzjae is still in the process of mixing the songs we will be using for the Flash mob. Hopefully, we can post it up within the week we all can listen to it and maybe, start practicing for it. Confirmed songs are: Mirotic, Wrong Number and Purple Line.

CassPH flashmob CEBU

Hey there Cassiopeia Cebuanos~!
Are you interested in the CASSPH FLASHMOB? Then feel free to contact me anytime. We are still needing members to join us at Cebu.


WHAT YOU NEED:

1. MUSIC - yes, you can use the 'flashmob mix' that I made.

2. DANCERS - at least 20, at most infinity. (as many as you can get!) they don't need to be the best but they should be determined to do it for TVXQ!

3. CHOREOGRAPHERS - at least 1, at most all dancers. You can have 1 main dancer who knows ALL choreography (or most) and s/he can teach you OR all dancers can chip in and teach the song they know.

4. VIDEOGRAPHERS - at least 2, at most 4. They will record and take pictures of the whole flashmob. (I suggest you get 1 recorder and 1 photographer) They will give the pics/vids to the leader and WILL SHARE IT to all Cassies!

5. FLASHMOB VENUE - a spacious place where people pass by regularly. It is up to you. (Always check law regulations and inspect the venue before choosing the right one)

6. SOUND SYSTEM - always have speakers/stereo to play the flashmob mix from your mp3 or CD

NOTE:
- flashmob starts with 1 dancer and adds more
- flashmob ends with everyone going their separate ways
- FINAL 2 PRACTICES is MANDATORY ATTENDANCE
- Before official flashmob, one last practice is done (away from flashmob venue, of course)


BAWAL ANG SHY. Because what is there to be shy about? If you're shy around fellow Cassies, what happens to you in front of a crowd of people? ^^
